Come and discover the story of water extraction, softening and supply over the last 120 years at this Scheduled Ancient Monument located close to Winchester in the heart of the Hampshire countryside.

Restored by volunteers of the Twyford Waterworks Trust we are open on selected days during the year. We look forward to seeing you at one of our events - please see our Visitor Information pages for full details.

We also welcome group visits by prior arrangement and can provide guided tours tailored to your interests.

We would like to give our special thanks to the many visiting exhibitors who support our events throughout the year, helping to make a day out with us an experience to enjoy and remember.

Coronavirus update

The health and wellbeing of our visitors and volunteers remains, as always, our number one priority, and in response to Government guidance on coronavirus, Twyford Waterworks Trust has cancelled the 5th July and 2nd August Open Days, and group visits.

We are sorry that you cannot visit us in person right now. Please be assured that we are continually reviewing the situation and we will strive to reopen as soon as conditions allow.

We thank you all for your understanding during these difficult and unprecedented times, and we look forward to welcoming you back to Twyford Waterworks soon.
